Elisa Seitzinger

My hair is red like the synthetic rubies that my grandmother’s factory produced in the heart of the Black Forest. Born at the feet of Monte Calvario, I left Val d’Ossola soon to study art in Florence, Atlanta, Nice and London. Then I settled permanently in Turin, Italy, where I live and work as an illustrator.

My head is full of Medieval beasts, crooked relics, tattooed martyrs, religion classes followed from the last desk, sacred icons and pop icons. I love drawing women, whores and madonnas with the colors of the tarots, which happenned to be the same ones of the Bauhaus. I love black cats too because maybe I’m a witch.
