San Paolo Unconventional Mapping

San Paolo Unconventional Mapping is a project aimed at establishing a dialogue on identity and the potential of the home ground. By involving the residents, a new light is shed on the resources of the neighbourhood of San Paolo.
After the engagement and participation of the citizens of the neighbourhood, two illustrators, Roberto Blefari aka Hikimi and Fernando Cobelo, realized two unconventional maps playing with historical, social and emotional aspects of the borgo.
Those two maps have been displayed at the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo along the behind the scenes of the creative process and an interactive installation.
The project is the result of the collaboration with Cooperativa Orso and Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, both located in San Paolo.
