Andrea Serio – Mettici un albero

Andrea Serio was born in Carrara in 1973. He is an illustrator and cartoonist. He is an expert in the use of pastels and his artworks were exhibited in many relevant national and international events. During his professional career, he has been making posters, books for children, graphic novels and covers for novels, magazines and records. In 2017 the Galerie Glénat of Paris has been displayed his artworks during a solo-exhibition. In 2018 his artbook, “Seriously”(Spaceman Project Editions),was released, gathering his most representative works of the last 20 years. Among his recent collaborations: Linus, Edizioni Oblomov, Feltrinelli, Topipittori, Le Nouvel Observateur, La Revue Dessinée, Magnard Jeunesse, Bayard Editions, Kleiner Flug, Einaudi, Mondadori, La Stampa, Seuil Jeunesse. He is a teacher at Scuola Internazionale di Comics in Turin and Florence since 2012.
