During a performance of approximately 30 minutes, there will be a live demonstration of the (EXPERIMENTAL!) technique of “lost plastic” usage.

Leo Poldo Art ceramic laboratory will transform, and for the occasion, small metal “jewels” will be created instead of Torèt in maiolica. The ancient technique of “lost wax” will be revisited and updated using 3D printing and plastic instead of wax. It will be possible to follow all stages of the process, starting from the creation of the digital model, passing through 3D printing, up to the realization of the mold and the casting of molten metal. Each participant will be able to take home a small metal “jewel” created before their eyes.

Note: Since it is an experimental technique, the success of the casting is not guaranteed.
