Elena Fonti is a botanical artist who draws flowers and transforms them into printmaking works, blending close observation of nature with traditional printing techniques such as soft-ground etching, aquatint, and screen printing. Her work stems from a desire to give form to a silent and sensitive world through a slow, mindful, and handcrafted gesture. Each subject is the result of an intimate dialogue with the floral universe, which she interprets with a personal — and at times ironic — perspective. She collaborates with institutions such as Stamperia d’Arte Busato in Vicenza and Print Club Torino, spaces where tradition and experimentation coexist. Her collections are produced in limited editions and conceived to enter lived-in spaces, becoming visual traces to be treasured.
