Folch is a Barcelona-based editorial and branding agency, founded in 2004 by Albert Folch. They create concepts, brands, and narratives reaching and engaging audiences on the new paradigm. The studio has developed a holistic approach to today’s communication challenges, from concept design, strategic consulting, transversal storytelling and brand narrative, to creative direction and production for a range of national and international clients across multiple disciplines. Based on a deep understanding of the client’s core insight and developing a strategy around it, Folch specialises in creating relevance as well as engagement and influence in this new era of communication. With a penchant for generating seductive narratives, the team uses design and art direction to translate ideas into visual language.

Managing the Folch studio’s commissions and operations, Rafa brings in his strategic vision and journalistic approach as well as his overall branding and communication expertise. After a career in Journalism at Blanquerna-Ramon Llull University School of Communication, he became a partner at Folch. Rafa is a teacher of Strategic Thinking at the Master of Graphic Design at ELISAVA. He is also a partner of Eldorado, Odiseo, and Folch Insights, as well as Executive producer and founding partner at White Horse. Besides this, Rafa is a member of the Barcelona Council of Digital Communication and the Comunitat 080 Barcelona Fashion.

Barcelona (Spain), 1977. Albert is the founder of the studio Folch, as well as having given birth to editorial initiatives like Odiseo and Eldorado. Graduated in Graphic Design from ESDi School of Design, Albert had previously studied Geology at UAB and photography at Royal Academie of Arts of Antwerp, in Belgium. Albert is also co-director and teacher in the Master of Editorial Design at ELISAVA. He is also a member of the Comunitat 080 Barcelona Fashion. Albert has been awarded Premios Gràffica 2017.
