Creative Roads launches two open calls for young artists and designers under 35 to take part in two residencies dedicated to the themes of Care and Community.
Creative Roads is a project by Club To Club, Graphic Days®, and Paratissima, supported by Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, aimed at fostering the cultural activation of Cavallerizza Reale in Turin.
The Creative Roads open calls are designed to foster emerging talent, empowering new generations through practices of design, art, and social innovation.
Two residencies, curated by Graphic Days® and Paratissima, will offer the opportunity to work in dialogue with local communities and real contexts, using culture as a driving force for transformation and exchange.
Applications are open until December 15, 2025!
Care is an act of responsibility towards people and places. It means taking charge of the needs of others and of the planet, through an empathetic and relational approach that connects past, present, and future.
The two artists or collectives selected by Graphic Days® and Paratissima will work with a group of teenagers (aged 15–18), exploring care as a collective and transformative practice. They will create either a single collaborative output or two individual works in the fields of photography, visual, or social design, as the result of their shared experience.
The residency will take place from March 16 to 22, 2026, and the outcomes will be exhibited in May 2026.
Community is born from dialogue, exchange, and the encounter between different cultures and identities. It is through these interactions that cities transform, grow richer, and take root through the stories of those who inhabit them.
The two artists or collectives selected by Graphic Days® and Paratissima will work together with a group of new citizens — people of first and second generation living in Turin — to explore community as a space for exchange and social transformation. They will create either a single collaborative output or two individual works in the fields of photography, visual, or social design, as the result of their shared experience.
The residency will take place from May 18 to 24, 2026, and the outcomes will be exhibited between late June and early July 2026.
