République Studio

République Studio is an award-winning creative direction and graphic design practice based in Paris founded by Tom Uferas. They work with local and international clients across a diverse range of platforms and disciplines. Typography is one of the key elements of their work, designing brand identities, signage, publications, magazines, posters and websites. Their strength is in versatile and modern design, often inspired by the Zeitgeist.

Tom Uferas

Tom Uferas studied at Penninghen design school in Paris. When he got his diploma in 2005, he began to work at Laurence Madrelle’s studio (LM communiquer). They worked mainly in the cultural fields. One year later he moved to Rome and lived as a freelancer for almost a year. In 2007, he came back to Paris and set up his first studio with a friend, which was called Tom&Léo. They designed a lot of corporate events, artworks for concerts, zines, logos… Three years later, Léo decided to concentrate on illustration and moved to Argentina. Tom decided to keep running the design practice under a new name: République Studio.
