The environmental impact

The festival thinks about the future to design a kind planet.

The set-up of the 2024 festival mainly involves the use of three materials: polycarbonate, wood, and printed fabric.
The polycarbonate comes from unsold warehouse stock, modified and adapted for the festival. At the end of the event, all material will be returned to the manufacturing company and will be shredded to be used again as polycarbonate.

The set-up also includes as usual the use of wooden structures that are reused in different editions of the festival and reassembled according to the exhibition context.
The colophons, wayfinding supports, paneling and exhibition panels in the exhibition are made of fabric and printed with the sublimation technique that allows the transfer of subjects with zero water consumption; in addition, at the end of the festival the fabrics will be reused within the creative upcycling project square point and will become bags, placemats, cases and much more, made by the inmates of the Lorusso and Cutugno prison in Turin.
