Stefano Mirti

Stefano Mirti was born in Turin in 1968. He took a bachelor degree at Almira High School (WA, USA) in 1984. He graduated in Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Turin, he also holds a PhD in Technology of Architecture (also from the Polytechnic University of Turin). Later, thanks to a scholarship, he moved in Japan where he started teaching as Information Design professor at Tama Fine Art Academy. He’s always been active in the teaching field, he’s been professor and director of some important universities such as: Interaction Design Institute Ivrea, NABA e Bocconi University of Milan; right now, he’s director of: Abadir, Fine Art Academy of Catania, Castello Sforzesco’ s High School for Applied Arts. He’s been curator of different events, such as 999. A collection of questions about contemporary living and HOMI Smart. In 2006 he founded IdLab, which he’s still project manager of. He’s also been in charge of the Social Media Team for EXPO Milano 2015.
