Design as a cultural process: practices for creative learning

How can innovative practices transform schools into learning contexts aimed at encouraging cognitive and creative skills in children? And how can cultural designers contribute to creating a transversal dialogue between design, pedagogy, education and learning? This panel presents different points of view, in order to explore the complexity of this intersection and share tools that are not meant to reveal the final result but to deepen the process, investigating how to improve free play and experimentation.

Speakers:

Ilaria Reposo, Graphic Days®, promoter of YOURB – Urban Innovators, project aimed at teaching civic education to young citizens.

Giorgio Camuffo, professor for the Master of Design for Children at the Free University of Bolzano, and project leader of EDDES.

Ilaria Rodella, philosopher, expert in laboratory teaching, collaborator of Corraini Edizioni.

Claude Marzotto, founder of the Milan-based studio Obelo, a design studio active in the field of editorial graphics, cultural communication and education.
