IN THEIR OWN WAY. WHAT ANIMALS TEACH US

What can we learn from animals by observing their behaviors, relationships, and the ways they inhabit the world?

In Their Own Way. What Animals Tell Us was born at the Teresa Sarti Strada Kindergarten in Barriera di Milano as a project dedicated to early childhood that uses the animal world to shift perspectives and reflect on different ways of living, relating, and being together.

Through images and the languages of visual communication, animals become the starting point to talk about relationships, coexistence, and different ways of inhabiting the world, building a narrative capable of addressing the youngest while simultaneously prompting new questions for adults.

On the occasion of Graphic Days®, the project leaves the school and reaches the city center, transforming into a widespread exhibition under the porticos of Piazza Vittorio Veneto —a transition from Barriera di Milano to one of Turin’s most heavily traversed public spaces.
