Reinvented Scraps

Reinvented Scraps is a workshop in which every child will bring their own banner to life, starting with a selection of fabric scraps and offcuts. From a box full of different shapes, colours and materials – seemingly in disarray – each child will choose, combine and arrange the elements to transform them into a personal creation. Through textile collage, each banner will take shape piece by piece, giving rise to a new and unique composition from the chaos. At the end of the day, all the banners will be brought together in a grand collective parade, transforming the individual creations into a single narrative made up of colours, shapes and movement.

Duration: 60 minutes
